i like online for outfit inspiration as well as a reminder of pieces that i own and have forgotten about done i different ways...so many of these "street style inspo" posts show me stuff that i already own :)
I know Yes, offline time can help heal my relationship with clothes, but it’s not a 100% yes. Some intentional online time about clothes will also help I think.
Since cutting back severely from instagram and it’s creativity by proxy, it’s been much easier to work towards re-finding my own style. It’s been very helpful for me, in many ways.
While you may not adhere to the optimism of spring as I read your post , I read change , I think it’s not only the elm tree that is budding😀
I have always not liked when people say they are “proud of themselves” . But I do believe that other people can be proud of you. So here it is ( and I don’t unusually say nice things !)
I like to know what the trends are, then I look secondhand for the things I don’t already own. I love the idea of wearing/seeking out Aus-made clothing! I like doing the same for my country (Canada). I have a very old Australian designer skirt by Joy Nilsson that I adore.
Lots of them. I’ve been in the fashion industry here for 15years, so was really riding the wave of new. I started to shop second hand properly at the beginning of this year. ❤️

I wish there was more opportunity to shop local. Google is becoming more and more washed out with Temu and Shein. ❤️
Does your area have any Op-Shops? One of my Aussie friends swears by them! 💕
